My third group of antique tools. $8 to $150 each. Prices vary depending on the tool. Paring down my collection I put together over 50 years.
The plow plane in the lower left is solid boxwood $150. The smooth arm plane above it is $95. And the handled plow plane in the upper left is $110. The fret saw in the upper right is $85. The beautiful rosewood panel marking gauge at top center is $150. The primitive brace with old pewter repair is $50. The long razee plane at the bottom is $75; these were often used by shipbuilders as they weighed less than a traditional jointer and were easier to use. The iron and beech brace above the razee plane handle is $35. The primitive fret saw, above the front of the razee plane, is $75. The early balance scales (late 1700's to early 1800's, held up by a potato masher) is $50. The metal push-drill (shaped like a screwdriver) is $8. The bow drill is $95.
